Day1 (cont.)

All Right..Reporting..Shimla, 2210 hours, full of chicken in coriander sauce and vegetable chow chow. Wow! This place rocks sooooo much! In a resort in Naldehra..this is a place about 25 km from Shimla and its really beautiful! Well to continue from morning's entry we boarded our Kingfisher Red aircraft which as i had anticipated was small but unbelievably cute! It was just a 50 seater or something and flew at a relatively low altitude. Throughout the entire journey, the landmass was visible and when the plains gave in into the hils-- wow!!!..I took some really good pics from the air. I'll put them on for you. Well the landing was a bit scary. Out of nowhere the runway just rose up to us! Surprised us all! Well from the airport our hotel was like a 40km drive. We got acquainted with the circuitous roads of the mountains. Had lunch in the hotel itself. Then slept nicely for around 2 hours.
In the evening around 5 we just walked to a nearby pine forest forest(will upload pics) where loads of trails led us to beautiful clearings and glades. Then in a near"by dhaba I had gr8 coffee and my parents had tea. It was served alongside eight sandwiches of thickly buttered warm toasts..I lost myself in the beauty of the moment.Hills to the front of you, pine forest behind you and buttered toast and coffee inside you-- Ah! Heaven.
Then we walked back to our room. Only then we slowly started feeling the actual cold. And it was wondorous. We never expected so much cold. Even in the room i had my jacket and socks on. Guess i over-estimated the insulating properties of my fat layer. Well in the evening i started my next Matthew Reilly book: "The Seven-Stones". It's really good.
After all this, it was time for dinner. We all headed down to the retaurant, where a gr8 buffet awaited us. As usual I stuffed myself to my full. The sweet dish of caramel cake was heaven too!
Well i just came back and wrote my longest blog entry till now.
Well tomorrow's gonna be good too. We're gonna go to Khufri a small hamlet kind of place with suppossedly great panoramic views. Lets hope it goes gr8. If possible i'll give an entry tomorrow too! Till then.. Ta-Ta!!
