Well,
Quite unusually, i am not full of food tonight. Reason: We have not had dinner yet. It's still 9 on my watch and we, that is my parents, are packing as we are leaving tomorrow. Today was a rocker too! Today as decided, we just lazed around in the hotel during the early hours of the day, till around 11:30. Oh, include in that 'lazing' a sumptuous breakfast consisting of pankakes, uttapam, sambar and so many other yummy things! Well, then i sat down haily, reading my book. Matthew Reilly really rocks at fiction. The type of action and mystery interwoven is really superbly done!
At around 12, me and my dad left for a trek through a forested trail. My mom preferred to stay back work. Well, the trek was really cool! We just went here and there, follwing our own path till we reached the shop where we had coffee and toast the first day!! It was really surprising! After calling my mom there, we had lunch in a restaurant in another hotel. We kept that simple.
My parents retired for an afternoon siesta after coming back, while i returned to Matthew.
At 4:30, we decided to visit a place called Mashobra. Well, that was mostly my decision, so i was a bitaprehensive that it would turn out to be a flop show. Well, when we first reached the place, it really seemed to be so.
Actually, Mashobra a kind of big place. We just visited the apple orcard. Well, as soon we got there, we realized how quiet and lonely it was there. NOBODY was there. Then, somewhere from below, a man appeared and told us we could explore wherever we wanted. Well, after that, we really enjoyed the place. It was empty, but with lots of plants, lawns and, as it was on a hill, a cool breeze was blowing all the time. It felt really good up there. Actually the whole thing was a research facility. So it was fun to see all the equiment and stuff in the labs. Well, we left that place around 6:40 pm. After driving back for some time, we came across a temple, with a small dhaba below it. We visited the temple, which was a peaceful and quiet place. After coming down we had tea(coffee in my case) and hot pakoras..yum! Well, after that we uneventfully drove back to our hotel.
We're leaving Shimla tomorrow for Kulu, by road unfortunately. Well, it's gonna be a tiring 8-hour drive.
Well,i'll try to keep you posted. For now- Ta ta!
hey did you read Temple by Matthew?
